Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner are undoubtedly influenced by their entrepreneurial, fashionista half-sisters Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian Odom and Kourtney Kardashian. The pretty teens, who are reality TV show starlets in their own right on Keeping up with the Kardashians, have already developed quite a signature, sizzling style of their own, which often includes body-con dresses and trendsetting staples, and they've even landed roles as guest contributors at Seventeen magazine. They're also working on their own jewelry design line. So it seems undeniable that the burgeoning models are stepping outside the shadow of the high-profile Kardashian name.
Kendall even has her own magazine cover-girl role to celebrate, recently starring as the main attraction for Raine. On Saturday, Aug. 18, she attended a signing, where she autographed copies of the glossy. But the bigger story was her fashion and beauty statements for the event. While she rocked a gorgeous, glam black frock that had a Kim Kardashian-esque edge, it was clearly her own style. She successfully pulled off the strapless mullet dress with bold shoe booties, a look that would have been tragic on someone without her tall, slimline model physique.
As for Kendall Jenner's hair, she again pushed the boundaries by coaxing her raven locks into tight curls—a 'do that is completely different from the standard Kardashian and Jenner style that centers around the perfect blow-out of straight, glossy and voluminous locks. As Celebuzz reports, she even posted to Twitter, "trying something different today with the hair!"
However, Kendall also recently tweeted out an "all natural" bikini photo of herself, seemingly following Kim Kardashian's lead, as the reality show diva has also been promoting swimsuit pics of herself sans filter or Photoshop. But for her Raine signing (and the magazine's cover, for that matter!), Kendall kicked the au naturel thing to the curb and posed for her glamour shots with plenty of added hair and makeup action.
