I thought I'd better write a new post than to comment back on all of you with the same text.
This is a sequel to: Another Ebay Terror Tale
The buyer has contacted us on Friday. She called just minutes after I sent another message through Ebay that I REALLY need her to at least give us a sign that she is alive *lol*
Anyway, she said she would like to fetch the item on Sunday (today). We had plans for Sunday but ok. It is too hot anyway to go anywhere.
Ok, so today is Sunday and I have an Ebay message in my inbox that she can't make it today. Her daughter (with whom she inteded to get here) had a heat stroke and well... I guess that is a valid reason.
So the telephone box will block our garage for another 2 weeks :-(
Hubby is really angry as this thing really blocks everything and my car has to park in front of the house. He has another two weeks off and had intended to do all kind of stuff outside and in the garden and needed the garage during the day.
Grr....
Oh and there is another buyer going crazy. We had sold a telephone WITHOUT any cable attached. You could see that CLEARLY on every HUGE photo and guess what? He wants his money back as he does not have a cable.
I seriously think he wants to scam us. He could buy that d*rn cable for a few cents and if we really paid him his money back, he had a phone for almost FREE!
Who does he think he is?
He told me that when buying a car and there is no steering wheel, you would want your money back. I replied "Of course, but if you saw on the huge photos that the car is missing a steering wheel and buy it anyway, you can't come and complain later".

If you listed an item as missing, I think you're safe. Hopefully ebay is smart enough to take your side.
But relisting it on Ebay and waiting for another buyer to come get it would also take at least two weeks :-(
A popular saying these days...
"BUYERS ARE LIARS!"
I will probably let the "phone guy" wait some more. The worst thing he can do is 1) open a case on Ebay where Ebay will be in my favour and 2) give me a negative rating which I cannot give him back. I really hate it that we sellers cannot rate the buyer negative or neutral anymore.
But one negative rating is better than paying him over $30 back for his own stupidity.
He just replied me that he expects ME to pay his shipping. Yeah sure, what a $@%§&!
I will probably wait for him to do the next move. He did not even open a case yet. I guess Ebay would be on my side.
