1. Reading is not to be done just for the sake of reading: one should have a/ a motivation; b/ a possibility; 3/ time;4/ a goal.
2. One reads to: a/ be able to read; b/ to be able to comprehend;c/ to be able to enrich one's knowledge; d/ to be able to read the written; c/ to be able to participate in the language usage; d/ to study; e/ to brush up the language or to master it;f/ to study how to appeciate and what to appreciate; g/ to learn how to write properly and interestingly.
3. It all depends on: a/ the skills; b/ readiness; c/ necessity; d/ interest.
4. There are so many books now that one should read only the most important to know what is really good, nice, useful, acceptable by a society or a socium, important and interesting.
5. One cannot know everything, one cannot read up everything.
6. To give learners of a Foreign Language a real education, it's necessary to get them interested in teh Language, to show how to like it and why to like it, to show the unique harmony in the real langue usage.
7. The real language acquisition is to include, at least, 4 steps: 1. Folklore and Children's Literature (fairy-tales, rhymes, songs, layers, riddles, jokes); 2. Newspaers and magazines (to show the language in its usage and its functionality, as of today), as well as Internet /only enriching webs/; 3/ Contemporary, the 21st Century's Literarute for children, the youth and adults ( as it is the Language as it is used now by the same generation of peopkle); 4/ Modern Literature (20th Century); 5/ Classical Literature /going back into the centuries: the 19th, the 18th, the 17th, the 16th.../ - only as much of that as necessary and sufficient, and all the best samples of it for specialists, Philologists and Linguists to be real experts in the filed./.
