Fifty Shades of Grey, and the buzz over what promises to be its blockbuster film adaptation, continues its domination over not only the everyday fan, but it also has captured Hollywood's fickle attention—and the chatter about E.L. James' erotic read shows no signs of slowing down. Updates about which hot actress and hunky actor is on the short list (or wants to be!) to play the book's lead characters, Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey, are a seemingly daily occurrence. So is news about the novel's ever-growing celebrity fan club. The newest member? A star from the Real Housewives of Miami.
The always-sultry Joanna Krupa proved to be a "model" reader of 50 Shades of Grey—she paged through the book at Miami Beach in a barely-there pink string bikini, and to make the vignette even sexier, she read it aloud to her handsome, longtime fiancé Romain Zago, who was appropriately (for this steamy situation) clad in a skimpy Speedo-like bathing suit.
Starlets, both emerging and more established, have been talked about for a part in the movie—think Emma Watson, Leighton Meester, Shailene Woodley and the pretty roster goes on and on. And, on the guys' side, everyone from Ian Somerhalder to Ryan Gosling, Matt Bomer to a new fave, Henry Cavill, have made the gossip columns when it comes to Grey.
But, Krupa's recent perusal of 50 Shades of Grey has to make one wonder if there's any place for one of the Housewives in the upcoming flick. The answer is probably a resounding "no" from scads of horrified Grey fans who may positively shudder at the thought of Bravo-lebrities on the big screen. But could Krupa be elevating her fan status of the book to another level and perhaps fantasizing about taking on the role of Steele? While the blonde beauty may have Maxim's sexiest swimsuit model superlative on her résumé, and of course the questionable cred of her new reality gig on Real Housewives, it doesn't seem likely at all that she would be cast in the movie.
Regardless, 50 Shades has added another hot celebrity endorsement of sorts to its stable of recognizable fans. This one came not via a Twitter post about the tome or an interview, but simply by some steamy beach snaps. Daily Mail has the photos here.
