Big Brother 2012 episode 16 aired on Thursday, August 16. In the sixteenth episode of Big Brother 14, the Week 5 eviction ceremony and the next Head of Household competition was set to take place. As previously reported on Gather, in episode 15, Head of Household Frank ended up winning the Veto as well, but decided against using it. That meant either Joe or Frank was heading home next.
The beginning of the latest episode was pretty predictable, as both nominees tried to jockey for support in the house. It really seemed like no matter which one of the two got sent home this week, though, because the other might be the one leaving the house next week.
That eventually led to the eviction ceremony, where eight houseguests would be voting on the latest nominees. It seems producers were paying close attention to the voting order to elongate the suspense though. Ashley went first, voting to evict Joe and then Mike (Boogie) followed her by voting to evict Wil. Danielle then voted for Wil and Jenn voted for Joe, leaving the vote at 2-2.
The final four votes all went to Wil, making it a 6-2 decision and evicting him from the Big Brother house. Only Jenn and Ashley voted to evict Joe in the end, further showing that the "Silent Six" alliance is remaining pretty strong in the house. Everyone outside of it is simply reacting too slow and may need to win a string of HOH challenges to even stand a chance at winning this season.
At the end of the episode, the battle for the new Head of Household began. The Week 6 HOH competition was an endurance challenge, though, so the results weren't given to CBS viewers before the episode was over. For those interested in learning how the endurance challenge is playing out, Gather has a spoilers article up and ready for continuous reports.
How do you hope that this latest Big Brother 2012 HOH competition turns out?
