I received this today from UltraViolet, which is an offshoot of MoveOn, primarily concentrating their efforts on women's issues. The email speaks for itself, along with accompanying links. But, I'm certainly getting the feeling the more we know about Paul Ryan, the more of a danger his sitting in the White House becomes...

I received something similar from move on. I checked out the links where they got their info on..so it looks pretty much on the level. I agree with what you say about Ryan...after reading the email from Moveon...i was like...this is not good at all. I was going to vote for Romney...but I'm thinking of staying democrat..at least we know what we have with Obama. Its like trying to chose between the lesser of two evils....

I received the MoveOn email also & may post it, but I hear what you're saying...tho' I really don't consider Obama "evil." I really think problems with his leadership stems from Republican opposition~thanx for weighing in!

...no, problems with Obama's leadership stem from where he wants to "lead" us. The Republicans, like most Americans, don't want to follow his lead.

It is really sad the amount of 'stupidity' & 'arrogance' that is against the 'common rights' that should be afforded not only women - but our society in general. These so call political men are full of evil ... there is NO other excuse!

Not sure what you're getting at here...I really didn't say anything~I posted talking points that show where Ryan stands on women's issues. AND, so far, nobody has disputed them!

Doesn't sound like he's against women to me. Nothing to be afraid of. Just what we'd expect from a conservative.

What is so different. Women have been discriminated against since before I was born. I could not be an architect because I was a woman. No they would not admit me into any of the courses to become an architect. I know construction and can tell you if it is not according to blueprints.
What else is new?? Nothing only they don't want us to have abortions. I was raised in the times when abortions were against the kaw and many women died from illegal abortions. This is not new. These are men trying to take back their power. Well we don't live in cabins any more. We can vote. It is about time we put a woman in the White House.

Think you hit the nail on the head with this comment, Jean~Funny, I worked on a few construction crews back in the '80's, and guess I was lucky to work with forward-thinking guys. No female issues, x for a few cat calls. We were cresting on women's lib back then, & I have no doubt, that some want to turn the clock back...
