Jenelle Evans signed over custody to her mother during her episode of 16 & Pregnant. However, she didn't just do it for the hell of it -- she did it because she had no choice. Jenelle is now opening up about why her mother has full custody of three-year-old Jace.
Jenelle recently revealed to a fan, "I had no choice. CPS said sign Jace Oder or he is going to foster care. I had no control and was only 17." Luckily for everyone, her mother was wiling to take Jace into her care and has had him full-time ever since.
Jenelle has been establishing her career outside of Teen Mom 2 and is even planning on buying a house soon. She plans to regain custody of her son full time, but will be doing it slowly, which is better for Jace. She wouldn't want to rip him out of his regular environment right away.
