So. The selection has been made – made very well, I might add – and Paul Ryan, the Wisconsin wiz kid, will be the next Vice President of the United States of America.
Â
I’ve been a little antsy over the long and arduous selection process. My favorite candidate for the veep seat has changed almost weekly. My first choice was Christy because he has…um…big body parts. I liked Martinez because she has a Z in her name, and I wanted Rice because she had foreign policy experience and could deal more effectively with threats like Iran. Then I realized something….the biggest national security threat we face today comes from within. The biggest threat we face as a nation is our current economic situation.
Â
Enter Paul Ryan.
Â
Not only does Paul Ryan know his way around Federal budgets – he’s created one each year during the Obama administration but, of course, Harry Reid has refused to allow those mandatory budgets to actually come to the Senate floor to be voted upon. (This alone should give you a clue about how totally indifferent Obama and the Democrats are to the LAW) – Paul Ryan also has a firm grasp of what is necessary to be able to keep the promises made to seniors, vis a vis Medicare.
Â
Without immediate intervention, the Medicare program will go belly-up in 2020. Period. This isn’t a threat, it’s a promise. The good news is, there’s a way out and Ryan has the roadmap.
Â
Repeat after me, reader friends:
Â
If you are 55-years-of age or older, the Ryan plan will NOT change your Medicare benefits AT ALL.
Â
If you are younger than 55, you may look forward to a time when you’ll be able to choose your own private medical insurance through a voucher program which will allow you even more flexibility and allow you to remain involved in the choices only you and your doctor can make.
Â
Because the Obama camp will stop at nothing to win a second term, we conservatives will have to work overtime to offset the lies being tossed about like grass seeds. We must repeat this good news AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY to everybody we meet who looks to be of retirement age. For example:
Â
You’re on a bus, the man next to you is balding. You say, “Hello. If you are 55-years-of age or older, the Ryan plan will NOT change your Medicare benefits AT ALL. Beautiful morning, isn’t it?â€
Â
You’re at the motor vehicles department getting your driver’s license renewed. You see a gray-haired woman standing in line right behind you. You turn to her and say, “Please, Ma’am. Move ahead of me here in line. Oh, by the way, If you are 55-years-of age or older, the Ryan plan will NOT change your Medicare benefits AT ALL.†(Then you hand her a Romney – Ryan bumpersticker for her car.
Â
If we are serious about salvaging this country, we’ve all got a job to do. We need to educate our senior friends and inoculate them against the outright lies and distortions which are coming. We do that by telling them the truth…. If you are 55-years-of age or older, the Ryan plan will NOT change your Medicare benefits AT ALL.

The libs will be working hard to silence the truth and freedom of speech...
Here is something we can do to advance the cause even if we don't have money to donate to the Romney-Ryan campaign. We can help the seniors we encounter to understand that MEDICARE IS GOING BROKE, (this isn't just some scare tactic.) and we can counter the lies with the truth about what the Ryan road map does NOT do...If you are 55-years-of age or older, the Ryan plan will NOT change your Medicare benefits AT ALL.
I dont understand why, they are so vicious, if it werent for the lies and all of the giveaway programs that they sponser, they wouldnt stand a chance... People must want to stay in poverty other than try and rise above it.. I dont understand how they can claim to be superior in intellience when they dont want to better themselves...
We understand that when something is broken such as our system, it needs fixing...Such as the message that Governor Scott Walker was trying to convey to the people of Wisconsin... If you are broke, you are broke...There will come a time when the money is due on our debts here in this country, we have got to start thinking of the future and borrowing more money that we cant pay is not the answer... we cannot run a household budget in this manner so why, dont these thinkers(lol) able to think this through... It just amazes me Viki... Of course you already know all of this..
Of course, it does. Do you think he just presented random numbers with a notation for each stating the explanation would be provided later?
Those that will listen, will learn.
Those that refuse will remain ignorant.
