Parents, who are arguably the world's greatest, built a backyard roller coaster, and this stunning attraction has gone viral. Jon and Natasha Cain of Lancaster, Ohio created this backyard amusement park ride right in their own backyard.
Their daughter Olyvia, and son, Samual are quite possibly the luckiest children in the world. The couple spent three weeks in 2009 building the 12-foot-long backyard roller coaster. Stunningly, their children are still enjoying their rides on the it more than 2 years later. Most backyard toys lose their luster much faster than that.
The cost for all these hours of high flying fun was a mere $700, which is certainly cheaper than a vacation to Disney World or another amusement park. Plus, it has lasted much longer than a short trip lasts.
Now, Natasha Cain and her husband are building their own home. She said that they may build something fun for the kids there too. "We did talk about doing a Ferris wheel at the new house ... not like a ginormous one, just one that you could manually do."
That sounds like tons of fun too! Have you seen the video of this fun backyard ride? If not, check it out below. Would you build a roller coaster in your own backyard? Do you think your kids would enjoy that?
