Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and one of his three girlfriends, Miss December 2009, Crystal Harris, were being filmed at a Hollywood nightclub Friday night. Maybe a new reality show? Hefner's previous reality show, The Girl's Next Door and its spin-off shows, Kendra and Holly's World, have all been hits for Playboy's Alta Loma Entertainment. But is there enough interest in the 86-year-old legend's life to bring in a big audience?
MailOnline wrote, "The pair were seen leaving a Hollywood nightclub last night as they shoot scenes for his new television show The Playboy Club." They also took a swipe at Harris by calling her Hefner's 'Holly replacement' (referring to Hef ex-love, Holly Madison), which is getting rather old, not to mention ridiculous after so many years! Harris looked cute in a strapless, sequined white top and a Cinderella-type miniskirt with load of blue tulle and a white satiny apron. Hefner looked as happy as ever and quite refreshed.
Hef tweeted that the woman who made the documentary about his life, 'Hugh Hefner: Playboy, Activist and Rebel' was making a new film. "@HughHefner Oscar winning Brigitte Berman's next film is a documentary on "Playboy's Penthouse" & "Playboy After Dark." It should be great." Instead of a TV program, is The Playboy Club possibly the documentary that he tweeted about?
Hefner also tweeted about visiting the new lingerie store that Crystal Harris is opening with her friend, actress Ashley Matthau called Ever After. He wrote, "I'm really proud of my girl." The store will carry lingerie designed by both women. Harris also works as a DJ, model and does club promotions. Twenty-six-year-old Harris became notorious when she left Hefner just five days before their wedding, earning her the nickname, 'The Runaway Bride'. The couple has been back together since early June.
