Robert Pattinson has become a recluse since Kristen Stewart cheated on him. He has never been big on hanging out in the normal movie star places, but he was still spotted out and about on occasion. It has been nearly a month since the paparazzi has captured Rob's face on camera. It is to be expected he would want to lay low for a while, but he has managed to pull off something very few celebrities have during his seclusion.
A friend of the actor reveals, "He's started to shut himself off from the outside world, preferring to watch Antiques Roadshow and listen to music." It is not completely out of the ordinary for Rob to stay in and catch up on his favorite shows, but his friend explains how alone Rob really is in the Los Angeles. "Rob hasn't got a massive group of friends over here," says the source.
Obviously, there are plenty of people he can hang out with, but Rob himself has said he lost most of his friends when he became a big star. Kristen Stewart was clearly one of his best friends, which adds to pain of her betrayal.
Robert Pattinson must be mentally preparing himself for the grueling week ahead of him. He will be exposed to the press in one interview after another as he promotes the US release of Cosmopolis. It is highly unlikely his current, private situation will be discussed during the interviews, but it will certainly be the giant elephant in the room.
