This fruit salad is sooo addictive. Yes, it is hot but it is also sweet and the combination is just unbelievable.
Sweet & Hot Fruit Salad
9 cups fresh fruit (any combination would be good)*
1/2 cup fresh orange juice
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tbsp Kikkoman Lime Ponzu Sauce (see note)**
1-2 tbsp Stevia***
1 tsp Sriracha Sauce
In a large bowl, combine fruit. In a large jar with a lid, combine remaining ingredients and shake well to blend. Refrigerate fruit and dressing separately and just before serving, shake dressing and pour over the fruit. Toss to combine.
Serve 1-1/8 cups per person
Risa’s notes:
*original calls for 4 cups strawberries, 2 cups mango, 2 cups watermelon, 1 cup pineapple chunks. I used some plums, strawberries, mandarin oranges, pineapple and peach.
**I did not have Ponzu Sauce so I used 1 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce and 1 tbsp lime juice.
***original called for 2 tbsp sugar. I used Stevia, which is from a plant and can be found at the health food store or there are brands at the supermarket such as Truvia, and others.
Yield: 8 servings (9 cups)
