Amber Jenkins of Silver Springs, Nevada has been confirmed dead after identification was done on her body—which was found in her boyfriend's SUV not far from their home. This bit of news comes as a heartbreaking end to the search for the missing woman, but there are other updates to this case as well. It appears that the manhunt for her abusive boyfriend is over as well.
That's because the body of Tim Pennington was discovered around the same day of the confirmation of her body. He appeared to have suffered self-inflicted gunshot wounds. A telephone message left by the aunt of the missing/slain woman also confirmed the news shortly before this source was published.
Amber Jenkins left behind a young child, who is in the care of child protective services. The authorities in this case had been treating the case of this missing woman as though she had willingly abandoned her child. They should feel ashamed of themselves for callously now allowing the maternal grandparents have access to the child while Amber was left dead— not willingly missing!
