I Saw Misses Indiana

This morning I went downstairs to get breakfast at the hotel. I soon noticed a beautiful, blonde, tall woman with high-end fashion outfit and 5-inch heels walked in. I thought she must be a model or something. Shortly after, a bunch of pretty girls with tiaras and ribbons also came in, and greeted the tall woman. These girls are pretty, but more "normal", as in, they were wearing sweaters, jackets, jean shorts, and flip-flops.  I finally realized the ribbons they wore all said "Miss Indiana" on the front, and their names on the back. The first tall blonde lady also had a tiara and a ribbon, but she didn't take them out and put them on until she was ready to walk out of the restaurant.

After the intimidating tall blonde woman left, I went to chat with the girls. So it turns out the Miss Indiana pageant is going to be held this weekend.  These girls were all winners from last year and they are going to transfer their titles to the new girls soon. I congratulated them on their achievements and left.

I thought it was really cool that I get to see these people who are normally only on TV.  Apparently I don't know anything about these pageants because I thought there was only one Miss whatever-State, but this morning I saw at least 5 of them.
