A police officer probed over a Chick-fil-A sandwich. It seems two lesbians were offended when a 12-year veteran of the police force in Dallas, Texas brought a Chick-fil-A sandwich to work. He is now under investigation.

The sad truth is that this story is true. Even if the sargaent made remarks, is this worth the man's job? Get over yourself, two lesbians. There is still freedom of speech in this country, and last I checked even the police are allowed to eat what they want in America.

This whole Chick-fil-A nonsense has done nothing for the gay community, but it has strengthed the anti-gay movement, and more importantly, it has strenthened American's resolve to stop suing over every word.

Get over yourself! This cop will never get fired. Read more. Chick-fil-A sales are through the roof, and while some cities like Chicago are banning Chick-fil-A, others are jumping at the chance to get the Christian chicken.

This is too much. Recently a gay man attempted a back flip and instead ended up hitting the pavement with his face. He then made up a lie and made a police report that he had been assaulted because he was gay. The gay community gathered around him in protest until the so-called hate crime was discovered to be a lie.

Freedom of speech maybe, but we sould also have freedom from being bullied, or mocked by others.

That is to say, IF the cop made harassing remarks to them, he deserves to be investigated. However, if he just bought a sandwich, and didn't rub it in their faces, so to speak, then they over-reacted.

And maybe they need some thicker skin. So, they get special protection from being "teased" or "harassed"? What if he tormented me the same or worse, should he be investigated? What, because I'm straight, I couldn't be harassed just as bad or worse for another reason? I smell a lawsuit coming. cha ching they're looking for money, for their "great pain and suffering" for sure. You ever see how that's done? It's a piece of cake, easy money, they'll be laughing all the way to the bank. I'll just bet it was really traumatic.

How about we start suing people for frowning at us, can a Christian sue for being mocked? How about Gather bullies?

Look, cops have always had that kind of tough guy harassment amongst themselves now a couple of lesbian party poopers come to work and start their FAUX whining about it?

I don't care if the harassment is for sexuality, or hair colour, or anything else. If people don't want to be harassed, they should not have to put up with it. I wonder if she said to stop first? If so, and he didn't stop, then he was wrong. No should mean know, whether it's verbal harassment, or something more seriouslike rape.

I am not a cop, but I have been harassed. A neighbour refused to leave me alone, and refused to address me by name, constantly calling me Sweetie, Honey, and other shit like that. He would not take no for an answer. HE was the one who was wrong. When someone says STOP, or NO, it should mean NO.

You and I have had a difference of opinion everytime we've come into contact with eachother, but you have not harassed me, and I don't think I have harassed you. There is a line!

"Exactly what was said is unclear." LOL...if what he said was truly out of line I'm sure nothing would be unclear about it. Some people just delight in taking offense and will do so at the drop of a hat. Get over it, people!

You are right. Get over it. And really, there isn't much that can't be just laughed off sometimes. Some people enjoy harassing more if it gets them a reaction they want. I just know they'll sue. They will get their revenge on Chi-fil-A one way or another. ;)

I once had a co-worker who just happend to be a lesbian. She was constantly and routinely late. One day the manager had enough so he wrote her up and sent her home for the day. As she was leaving she bumbled under her breath "It's because I'm gay."

well I had my non sexual turkey for dinner tonite, I have enough left over for at least 6 meals plus gave some to my kids,,
food is food and people are people no matter how stupid they are to do stuff or not

I, like many other Christians, have been harassed and bullied by others because of my Faith, real harassment, not just imagined...in one case I was questioned because I 'dared' to lead a Bible study amongst street folk (all had requested that I present it) in a park; as these people had no fixed residence, meeting in a public park was our only option. It was in the dead of night (when most street folk are active, try to sleep when you're cold), yet one person who merely passed by decided that he/she was offended and reported me for a 'hate' crime. What 'hate'???? Fortunately the magistrate refused to hear the case, and threw it out...but I'm not supposed to mind my time being wasted, because 'I'm a Christian'....I wonder how this person would have reacted to such an 'insult'?

Happens to you too? Us Jehovah's Witnesses are used to that now. When they started that rubbish with us, a few congregations descended on the town where the arrest was made. The police made the mistake of arresting them and the jails as well as the court system became overcrowded. That explains the reaction of that judge.

So these two officers "apparently felt the sergeant was trying to send them a message." I certainly hope there's more in the case that isn't being released because that statement is a load of garbage.
