Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Already Engaged When She Cheated?

Rumor has it that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were already engaged when she committed the "ultimate betrayal" by cheating on Rupert Sanders. Hopefully, that's not true because that would make the Snow White and the Huntsman star's behavior all the more reprehensible in the minds of her public. Nevertheless, one of KStew's friends claims she often referred to the Twilight heart-throb as her "fiancé."

"Kristen and Rob were engaged when she got caught cheating on him with her director," KStew's loose-lipped friend revealed. "She referred to him as her fiancé. Not many people knew this, only a few close friends."

Of course, La Stewart's tattletale friend has simply corroborated what many people had already assumed since Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were spotted just weeks before the cheating scandal looking at engagement rings. Furthermore, relationship expert, Dr. Gilda Carle has likened La Stewart and her affair with Rupert Sanders to a runaway bride.

"Kristen was like a runaway bride," opined Dr. Carle. "She could not — in good faith — look at herself in the mirror and admit 'I am not ready for this.'"

Whatever the circumstances, Kristen Stewart is probably wishing she'd simply told her boyfriend or fiance or whatever that she was getting cold feet and she needed some space. Alas, hindsight is always 20/20. It's a hoary cliché, but sadly true.
