Who are you calling fat? Kate Upton doesn't have to tell her critics to shut up--her body says it all in what might be her sexiest photo shoot yet. Upton posed recently for the new issue of Contributor magazine. In one shot she lays nude on a bed, covering herself with just her arm (and a strategically positioned leg). It's hard to believe she has been slammed by critics as being 'fat'--ridiculous, in fact--but her biggest critics of late are found in the extreme 'pro-ana' or 'thinspiration' advocates, so their opinions shouldn't count anyway.

In some of the other photos, Upton wears a little more than her usual bikini which Sports Illustrated made her so famous for. In the shot where she wears a one-piece black bathing suit with a fur vest, her legs look about ten miles long, and very slender. In other shots, she wears various leopard-print items--a dress and what might be a wrap-shirt (it's hard to tell because it's only half-on), and with her head tilted back and long blonde hair, she's reminiscent of a young Claudia Schiffer in her famous Guess ad. A reader's comment on the photos said he actually thought she looks too skinny in this shoot. Geez--the girl can't win!
The refreshing thing about Kate Upton is that she's real. No plastic surgery, no implants--and no starvation. (And yes, ladies, one might acknowledge that it is totally unfair that she just happens to look the way she does with little work!) She said in a recent interview that she does have to work for her body and eats healthily, but that she has to enjoy life. And, bottom line--that includes eating. One can only hope that she stays that way and doesn't let the naysayers get to her. She probably has a big enough fan base to counter that.
