I broke my own rule and have done up next weeks Today post in advance. I do not do that as I like to have up-to-date information but the spotlights will be great

Now, tomorrow, hubby and I will celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary.....wish we could have taken the Alaska cruise this year but couldn't afford it since we remodeled our entire living room.....the cruise WILL happen next August for sure, though! As I think about our anniversary, I think, once again, of how blessed I am, as I came so close to losing him last year to that aneurysm.....but God gave him back to me.......I still do thank God EVERY day for the miracle and for having him with us....for many more years, I hope!!
Your "happenings" are always so interesting. I really should try to spend more time here on Gather, especially now that I've got a new computer.....maybe, just maybe, I can start posting photos again.....LOL!!!

I'm truly hoping that now, with a new computer, I'll be able to post photos on here....I got some really good photos of our "dead" cornfields and the drought here in Iowa, I'm anxious to share! I'll be sure to let you know....you know, Gather's been "messing" with my "connections" once again and I've lost a number of friends, including you.......I don't know why it keeps happening but is very annoying.
I had surgery on Monday. I am up but not moving very fast today. :) No fun. Thank you so much for your prayers. My husband has an assessment skills performance test at a job site on Friday so I will be leaving for Illinois in the morning. We will stop a lot during the trip for me to move so I do not get too sore. It will be a long trip but hopefully the end result will be a new job. Keep those prayers going up on our behalf. I appreciate it.
It just seems so strange for you to be having droughts when we are getting flooded. Crazy weather the last few years. I can only imagine how sad the fields look in your area. I will try to view your photos on Friday while I am in the B&B resting from the trip. That is assuming they have WIFI. I have never been in a B&B before. It will be more comfortable than borrowing my brothers camper though. I am so sore from surgery. .
