I've told my lib/prog frenemies on Gather that when and if I ever agree with Obama, I'll be sure to say so. So, I'm saying so.
I saw one of his latest ads yesterday where he said that everyone should pay their fair share.
I absolutely agree with that. Everyone should pay his/her fair share. In fact, that's the first thing TEA party members agreed on here in Cincinnati at our first gathering of over 5,000.
I'm surprised that Obama would agree that everyone needs to pay his/her fair share, though.
Yessirreebob. All those folks who pay nothing should pay something. And, of course, all the "refunds" (welfare payments) to persons who pay no income taxes to begin with but receive "refunds" should stop.
Imagine if the 47% of Americans who pay nothing actually paid something. They might actually care that the government is spending too much.
Don't worry. I know I don't really agree with Obama. He would never ask all those folks who pay nothing to pay something. He says he wants the "rich" to pay more, but he doesn't really want that. He knows that his best bet is to continue pitting the "rich" against his definition of the "middle class" (ie union workers), pitting people against each other because of money, race, enthicity. He needs that....so that everyone is distracted while he works hard to ruin America.
Nope. I really don't agree with Obama at all. America is great because of capitalism, not tyranny, not "socialism", not communism, not progressivism. America is great because our forefathers designed a country that would work tremendously for the virtuous and not so well if the majority was corrupt.
Corruption doesn't have to come from the elite, nor does greed. It now lives in the hearts of many of those "middle class" folks who think the sun rises and sets on President Obama. Greed, envy and covetousness has clouded their vision. Someone, quick, get out the window cleaner! Someone turn on the Light!

Sometimes I wish all the Bush tax cuts had been let to expire.
