Beyonce and Jay-Z have gotten a lot of criticism over the years but the most recent one is probably the strangest.
While the message this time around is clear, the fact that the critic is comparing Jay and Bey to a black Bruce Springsteen is kind of weird.
Apparently, Harry Belafonte thinks that B and her hubby aren't doing enough for the world. They have millions upon millions of dollars and a lot of influence, yet they don't do much with it. Why is that?

"I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But they have turned their back on social responsibility."
He then went on to say some more, but probably should have stopped while he was ahead.
"That goes for Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you're talking. I really think he is Black," he said.
Seriously?
That's probably the strangest comment anyone has ever made.
What makes Harry Belafonte think Bruce Springsteen is African-American? Do you have to be African-American to be socially responsible?
Are you shocked by Harry's comments about Beyoncé and Jay-Z? Do you think they could do more with their money and influence?
