Tonight my coworker suggested that we go to a buffet restaurant called The Journey. At first I was skeptical. But it turned out to be the best buffet I have ever seen in years!

The exterior looked a little cheesy with neon-lighted plastic palm trees and a small pond with stone animal statues. The interior looked much better - classic and graceful decorations, comfortable seating and paths. The food bars, oh my, it was marvelous. They had all sorts of great dishes you don't usually see in a buffet restaurant. They even have frog legs! They have a huge chocolate fountain for you to dip the marshmallows and fresh fruit in. And of course they have shrimp, crabs, clams, crawfish, oysters, fishes, meats, vegetables, rice, noodles, sushi, sashimi, fruit bar, salad bar, dessert bar, fried items, meat carving board, and more.
Not only did they have a great variety, the taste of the food was great too. I was really glad the coworker suggested this place, or we would never have known. All of us were so stuffed! We already agreed to go back there again next week when we will be celebrating another coworker's birthday while we are there.
I am going to be missing this place soooo much after I go back home.
