Many are wondering if Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the best candidate for being the next star of The Bachelor when the show returns to ABC in 2013.
This racecar driver from Scottsdale, Arizona, by way of The Netherlands, was the runner-up on The Bachelorette, but Emily Maynard picked Jef Holm instead, leaving Arie free to pursue love elsewhere.
So is another romance via reality show the answer?
Perhaps so, especially if you like a cool guy who can show his own brand of humor. For Arie, this is proven by watching outtakes from The Bachelorette in which the blue-eyed hunk can't seem to get a handle on how to profess his love to Maynard, let alone realize where he is at the moment in which he is talking about such a serious subject.
But serious isn't necessarily what Arie Luyendyk does best. And that's probably a good thing since to be entertaining means to give some extra oomph to a show in the yucks department, especially if that show is (loosely) based on real life. Don't you agree?
So, with that in mind, don't you want to see Arie Luyendyk Jr, formerly of The Bachelorette, become the next Bachelor? Or, do you prefer this dude stick to racing Indy cars instead of checking out more than two dozen chicks for a few months on national TV? What do you think? Please weigh in.
