LEADER Â
"Sometimes our light goes out, but is blown into flame by another human being. Each of us owes deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this light." ~ Albert Schweitzer Leader: A person who inspires others, quides, rules; i.e. captain, commander, counsellor, dignitary, director, foreman etc ...  ~ Webster's ~~~~~ The word 'leader' evokes many images. We can go back in history and proclaim all the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even to this day images of certain leaders linger in our thoughts depending on how they affected our lives within our own situations and times.  Admittedly, it is often the press worthy leaders who seem more noteworthy within society who get most of the attention. But, some of the most proficient leaders can be the quiet examples we pass by every day -the ones who go about their life without such notoriety. Yet they live a life that exemplifies true leadership qualities in everyday situations. This league of leaders have little need to boast, nor do they conform to the conventional rites of popularity. But they remain to infuse an simple leadership quality wherever they may be. Such leaders will not be in the latest headlines, but nevertheless they remain genuine within their own rights. All these leaders reflect like a mirror upon the minds and hearts of the society they dwell in. Either their influence to be appricated or rebelliously deflected.  But be challenged, even our own actions and communications will in fact lead another along the way in a positive or negative direction. We are in turn upholding our own image as a leader in our daily lives as we initiate our actions and communications with family, friends, co-workers, and strangers along the way. How you lead is tallied up in the memories of your loved ones and those special moments you created along the way. |

This is so true CL. My light went out and I doubted it would ever come back on again, but it did and for that angel I am thankful.
