The Kristen Stewart-less Robert Pattinson is certainly full of surprises. After everyone circled August 15 on their calendars to check out his Good Morning America appearance, RPattz has now announced that his GMA appearance will not be his first interview since the Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders cheating scandal. Pattinson will appear on Comedy Central's The Daily Show two days earlier on August 13. So the question is: Will poor "betrayed" Rob open up to Jon Stewart about the unfortunate events of the past two weeks? Or to put that another way, Will he diss Kristen Stewart?
Yes, on August 13, the Twilight heart-throb will publicly break his silence for the first time since Kristen Stewart was led astray by the dweeb--er--director Rupert Sanders. Actually, Rob will appear on the show to promote his new David Cronenberg-directed film, Cosmopolis, and he'll no doubt limit his conversation to exactly that. Rob has always been reticent about his personal life and relationships, and despite his present psychological state, he probably won't change now. On the other hand, Daily Show host, comedian Jon Stewart, is known for often asking his guests outrageous questions. Hopefully, he will have been instructed to steer clear of "Robsten" matters, and just ask about the movie.
Robert Pattinson's first appearance on the Daily Show was back in 2010. His upcoming interview on the show will help promote the New York City première of Cosmopolis where he'll walk the red carpet--presumably alone. Or not. However, it's safe to say that Kristen Stewart, who has been banned from attending the premiere, won't be his date.
