Katy Perry and John Mayer not only went out on a date, they actually seemed to enjoy one another's company. The two ate at Pace in the Hollywood Hills, and a source inside the restaurant said they appeared to be having a wonderful time.
According to a report from Hollywood Life, this likely has lots of people hesitating because no one wants to see Katy get dumped on again. She is just recovering from her break up with Russell Brand. She doesn't need another low life helping to mess up her life. And despite the guy's immense talent--that's pretty much what most people think John Mayer is.
"They walked into Pace last Wednesday night with big smiles, laughing and being really friendly to everyone. They sat at a corner and colored on the table cloth. She drew some pictures of cats and John was scribbling pictures as well. Pace has paper table cloths and customers can color on them if they want," a restaurant source says.
John Mayer reportedly wined and dined The One That Got Away singer in high style.
"John ordered for the both of them and they shared everything. John paid the bill and left a generous tip," the source says.
Of course people can change, and lots of them would like to consider John Mayer among those who are or will eventually become better people. It just doesn't fit, however. He has dumped on some incredibly nice celebrity ladies in recent years. It would just be a shame if Katy Perry were to become the next one on his list.
