How Much Would You Pay to Date Octomom?

The news report that Octomom Nadya Suleman has posted herself on a website that allows her to request payment for dates at first struck me as desperate. Then it occurred to me that it was the best idea she's had in years. It certainly beats porno movies, pole dancing and begging for money on the Internet. There may be several takers who would pay to have an evening with someone famous. Weirder things happen in California.

The website is supposed to be for "smart, sexy" people which describes her as well as those classified ads where everyone is rich, attractive and single. Her reasoning on how she was going to support 14 kids without government assistance  veered off the logic charts. Her constant money woes since then seem to indicate she still doesn't have a grasp on how to use her money wisely.

Apparently she feels she has to use the sexy bit to support her family for now. She probably plans to have a reality show since the children are old enough to be talkative and cute. It seems like everyone is into reality shows these days.

Thinking about her, I realize I haven't seen anything about any disabilities of the last 8. When the octuplets were born, Nadya was receiving disability on 3 of her 6 children. Since multiple births, especially with the low birth weights, have a higher risk for disabilities, it's likely that there is another one or two with problems.

I have to admit that she's done better than I expected. I figured the state would have taken custody of at least some of the children by now. Since the first three years are probably the hardest until the teen years, maybe she'll make it.  I wouldn't wish 8 teenagers on anyone. For a while she'll have 11 teens! Ouch.
