Robert Pattinson was not married to Kristen Stewart; they were just shacking up in today's terminology.
Rupert Sanders, however, was married to Liberty Ross, which makes her the greater victim in the Hollywood entertainment scandal.
The Twilight lead actor might be struggling with the betrayal of his alleged Snow White and the Huntsman woman, who tethered between a vampire lover and a married huntsman, but at least he can console himself that he didn't marry the cheating woman.
Hollywood's favorite dark actor can walk away from the female he thought he could trust. After all, isn't that why people "shack up" in the first place? And he never has to look back if he doesn't want to, since he never committed to Kristen Stewart with a marriage covenant anyway.
Liberty Ross has no such option if she is committed to keeping her marriage vows.
Ross promised to love for better or for worse. Her husband Rupert Sanders gave her the worst. But Liberty Ross could rise above his wicked actions and forgive him, which she might be willing to do if he will promise not to direct the sequel to the movie that led to his infidelity, according to Times Live.
And since Rupert Sanders is allegedly doing everything he can to restore his damaged marriage, he's likely to agree to that demand. And he should.
Yet even if Liberty Ross does give Rupert Sanders another shot at their marriage, she will still remain more of a victim than Robert Pattinson in the Kristen Stewart affair scandal. And that's because she will have to face the affair and its aftermath every day of her married life.
The Twilight actor, however, will only relive it until he meets and falls in love with his next leading lady.
