The LA Lakers are continuing their search for players that can help the team win another NBA title, and the latest player on the Lakers radar is forward Kenyon Martin.
Recent reports from Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated has the veteran looking at two different teams to play for in the upcoming basketball season, with Brooklyn being the other, but the 34-year-old is still looking to win his first title in basketball, and that could lead to him playing on the West Coast this year.
Martin averaged just over five points and four rebounds playing for the LA Clippers last year, but the former number one overall draft pick has skills on both ends of the floor and would bring Los Angeles a player that plays with heart, and that is something the Lakers could use.
The front office has made several moves this summer, and most have revolved around aging veterans looking to win, and this move would only improve the teams bench and give the storied franchise another roster piece that they could use to unseat Miami in the 2012-13 NBA season.
