On the finale of American Colony Claudia had a big decision to make. She had to decide if she was willing to leave her family and all that she knows behind to attend life outside the colony. Wesley tried to talk Claudia out of leaving her family. He warned her that if she left she would be leaving everything she's ever known behind and would be considered an outcast.
Claudia has been a Hutterite for 19 years and if she leaves the colony she would be leaving her family behind. Claudia really wants to go to college and her mother supports her decision. Claudia is doing the right thing by doing the right thing for herself. She said she doesn't want to be a Hutterite all her life and if she wants to leave for a better life, so she shall!
Wesley, Krissy, Kimmy and Calvin were set to be baptized but they almost lost that privilege when one of the barns burned down. Clinton and Wes were the last ones in the barn. The beer they was drinking wasn't enough so they added some Jack Daniels to the mix. In doing so the careless drunks left the fire burning in the garbage can. Melvin was upset but father John forgave them and allowed the baptism. What do you think about Claudia's decision to leave the colony?
