I Mad a Point In the Last Hour

Some of you might not think that making a point in an hour is a big deal but to me it is. I am lucky to earn a point or two in a day so I am so thrilled to have earned one in just one hours time. I had not even posted anything, I just viewed and commented on several other people's things.

I need to make payout this month as I lost 2 textbooks last year and they have to be paid for before school starts. I was hoping to have worked at least a couple of weeks by now so I could help my mom pay for them as they cost $180.00 and she is not very happy about that all, so maybe if I can cash out here on Gather I can at least give her a few bucks to help.

I've commented on several post over the past few weeks, and didn't even get a point. Sometimes Gather can be so frustrating.

Tresa, you need to add more friends, 2 you need to post at least one post a day. 3 you need to comment on other people's articles and pics. Yesterday I made 89 commnts on other people's articles and pictures. That does not count for me. You need to join groups and spend some time looking around.

All very good suggestions. But even so I've been lucky to average 30 points a month lately. Gather seems to have slowed down. Hoping to pick up more points with school starting and more mom time.

Well, points are VERY slow here on Gather these days.......I sure do know the feeling, but I'm not always able to spend a LOT of time here, either......I've had major computer problems and it finally died, so we have had to go shopping for a new machine......the kid finally got my new computer up and running last night so am finally back. Maybe now that I have a new computer, I will be able to post photos....LOL!!!
Yeah, textbooks are very, very expensive, that's for sure........I know, cause I remember when our son was attending college.......I could hardly believe the costs.....there was one book that was $250.....just for ONE!!!!!
