Teen Mom Leah Calvert (Leah Messer as some fans may still know her) definitely has had her plate full these past few years. Not only did she have a rocky marriage with Corey Simms, but at a young age, the two were caring for twin girls. If that wasn't hard enough, Leah's daughter, Ali, was born with some developmental issues which have left her struggling to catch up with her sister, Aleeah.
For months, family and fans have been praying that the 2-year-old would take her first steps. Even when things didn't look too good, everyone remained strong, knowing that God would help Ali reach that milestone. Well, it looks like all the praying paid off and, on Saturday, Leah tweeted:
"Ali took a step and I'm soo happy!!!!!!! Ahhhhh, thanks so much for prayers!!!!!!!! ((((: #onehappymommy"
Obviously, this is an amazing milestone and one can only imagine how happy Leah Calvert truly is.
Earlier this year, Leah married Jeremy Cavlert, first in a private ceremony in Kentucky. The two tied the knot for a second time this summer on the beach in a beautiful ceremony, complete with Leah's co-star Kailyn Lowry in attendance. Since then, Leah and Jeremy have been living a quiet life back in West Virginia while continuing to film for Teen Mom 2. The show is set to come back this fall, but it will be a little behind on events. Hopefully, cameras will be able to capture this milestone for a future episode!
