Oprah may be going au natural (her hair, folks - nothing scandalous!) for her new O Magazine cover, but she still gets to indulge her affinity for wigs while filming the historical drama, The Butler. In fact, the media mogul recently posted a picture of herself on Twitter, with a variety of voluptuous wigs in the background.
The film, a Lee Daniels docudrama chronicling Gloria Gaines, a butler who served in the white house for three decades, will make use of seven different wigs to encompass the many hair statements made over the course of eight Presidents. The former talk show host shared this photo on Thursday, with the caption:
"Me and my "girls" in the makeup trailer.#theBUTLER"
The wigs include an afro, hot rollers, a shaggy cut, one that looks much like the hair most commonly associated with the diva (no, not the bad perm), and some streaked with or wholly gray as the character ages.
Oprah has always had a thing for wigs - and with all that money, who can blame her for having a unique and pricy obsession! - and now she gets to be paid to wear them! Win-win!
