New details surrounding the Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders affair that devastated Robert Pattinson have come to light. Rupert had been pursuing Kristen virtually from the beginning of their acquaintance, but Kristen initially wouldn't have anything to do with him.
"Rupert had been infatuated with her since the production, but she always kept it professional because she loved her boyfriend," a source revealed to People magazine. "She still does. It only became a flirtation recently, and she was lured into a brief situation that she never wanted."
Although the source tries to paint Kristen in a more flattering light, there is no conceivable way that she is blameless in her actions. Her initial treatment of Rupert Sanders was undoubtably the correct choice of action, but no one put a gun to her head to make her later change her mind and succumb to Rupert's advances. If Kristen Stewart truly loved Robert Pattinson, the affair would have never happened.
Since the affair went public, Kristen and Robert have moved out of their shared home. They are reportedly speaking again, but a reconciliation has not occurred. If Kristen and Rob ever eventually get through this and try their relationship again, Kristen will have a lot of work ahead of her to win Robert's trust back.
