Today's Transfer Rumours And Gossip writersare stating that Real Madrid midfield playmaker Nuri Sahin is due to complete a season long loan move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Nuri Sahin has been linked to a move to Tottenham Hotspur for a long time now, and the impending move of Luka Modric to Real Madrid has added fuel to that fire.  There have been increased suggestions that Nuri Sahin may be tied into some kind of part exchange deal for Modric, or more likely a season long loan move.  

Nuri Sahin is an amazing creative midfield player.  Sahin is a Turkish international and has been at Real Madrid for some time now, but has yet failed to make a major impact on the first team.  It was thought that Nuri Sahin would welcome a move away from The Bernabeu, in order to gain first team football and improve as a player.  However, Nuri Sahin was reported as claiming he would rather stay as a Real Madrid player than to move away from the team on a permanent deal.  However, a season long loan to Tottenham Hotspur might be the answer.  With tenacious negotiator Chairman Daniel Levy involved, you can be sure that whatever deal is made will strongly favour Tottenham Hotspur.  Maybe we could see Luka Modric move to Real Madrid for a slightly lower £35 million, with a season long loan for Nuri Sahin and clause to buy thereafter?  

It was reported that Jose Mourinho had personally contacted Daniel Levy regarding this deal.  There has to be some truth in the Nuri Sahin loan deal if Mourinho is getting involved personally?
