A lot of people ask why Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra were picked for Teen Mom. While they may not be raising their daughter on camera, they are still parents and have helped give teens an intimate look at the emotions that come along with adoption. Not only that, but their unique and tumultuous relationship with their family has helped to show teens that just because you're life isn't perfect growing up, that doesn't mean that you can't be successful in life.
On the latest episode of Teen Mom, fans watched as Catelynn's mom revealed that Tyler's dad had gotten physical with her. Unfortunately, this and substance abuse are two things that both Cate and Ty grew up around and rather than fall into that kind of a lifestyle themselves, the experience has left them wanting more for themselves and their future children.
In fact, Catelynn revealed that, when she has more kids, she doesn't plan on drinking around them. Although she admits that she may have a drink or two, it will be when her children are not around. A lot of people have mixed views on drinking. Some people do it, some people don't, and some people even do it around their children (reportedly, Maci Bookout has had a few drinks around Bentley before.) Obviously, whether or not you drink is your prerogative, but it is very mature of Catelynn Lowell to make this kind of decision.
Catelynn and Tyler are getting married next summer and do plan on having more children in the future, when they are older and ready. There is no doubt that they will be excellent parents!
