Kate Middleton is a known fashionista and has been awarded as the number one best dressed woman by Vanity Fair magazine for the past two years. Now, with the new list is out, fans are wondering, did the Duchess of Cambridge keep up appearances by appearing on this coveted list once again?
The answer is yes.
While others are further down the food chain for this sartorial honor given by the top consumer magazine, the newest British royal hits the very top of the sartorial honors that have been handed out a total of 73 times by this publication.
So, Kate the Great appears on the cover of September issue of Vanity Fair just under a headline blurb saying "2012 Best Dressed List!" And her photo on the cover is of a fresh-faced Kate Middleton who happens to be wearing a fresh white dress, which is only seen from the waist up. Also, this shot is one that comes from stock since the Duchess of Cambridge does not pose for pictures to appear on the cover of any magazine. It's royal protocol calling that shot whether fans like it or not (Doesn't seem fair, does it?).
So, as Catherine gets called out as best dressed for the third year in a row courtesy of arguably the most prestigious magazine on the planet, she is also joined by other fashionistas, including Alicia Keys and Fan Bingbing.
With that said, do you approve? Do you think Kate Middleton deserves to be called best dressed once again? Do you think the cover of Vanity Fair was the right place for Prince William's wife to be for this particular sartorial prize? Please weigh in.
