Mitt Romney insulted the British by insinuating they were unprepared for the Olympic Games. Now, just days later, he's insulted the Palestinians by saying the "culture" in Israel makes them more economically successful than Palestine.
But, the Republican party is not racist, right? Yeah, and neither is Mitt.
Senior aide to President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority, Saeb Erekat, disagrees. He told the Associated Press, "It is a racist statement, and this man doesn't realize that the Palestinian economy cannot reach its potential because there is an Israeli occupation. It seems to me this man lacks information, knowledge, vision, and understanding of this region and its people."
Well said, Mr. Erekat!
Someone on Mitt's campaign must have suggested he not back away from this stupid statement as he did on his gaffe in London. After all, it makes him look flip-floppy and indecisive when he keeps saying something and then retracting the statement. So now he's standing by his asinine remarks. Which is worse?
The only thing becoming clear is that Romney is making George W. Bush look like a genius. At least Bush was not so completely idiotic as to insult foreign heads of state while he was still running for the office!
Of course, GOP campaign aides say this is a "manufactured story" and contend that his comments were not meant to "slight" Palestine. His aides might as well be wind-up toys. Just pull the string and the response is the same. He never "means" anything, does he?
Basically, if you're not a millionaire, be prepared to be insulted by Republicans. Their nominee just doesn't understand how it's possible to live paycheck to paycheck. And if he doesn't understand it, he cannot help you. He doesn't have the first clue as to what your life is like, what your goals are, or how you can begin to accomplish those goals. He only understands that he has a lot of money that he will protect at all costs.

I want Romney to show me just one job he's created. I know how many he sent overseas to China, India and Mexico. I want Romney to release his tax returns just like his Father did when he ran for President.
Come on Mitt. What are you hiding?
Exactly right.
Yep, this one incident proves it...Every single Republican in the nation is a racist.
Saying the party is racist is very different from saying "every single Republican" is racist. Come on, Vic. You know that your words are not what I wrote.
By the bye...have you heard Carney's "response" (lack thereof) to the question about Israel's Capital?
Psshhhh....
Gee Mitt, God must like you A BUNCH......
