London Olympics 2012 Basketball Schedule: Team USA vs. France to Live Stream Online 7/29

The Team USA vs. France live streaming online and televised game is scheduled for early morning, with the United States looking to begin their pursuit of a gold medal. This game not only features the major NBA stars of the U.S. basketball team, but also France's Tony Parker.

An interesting aspect heading into this game is France's Tony Parker, who stars at point guard in the NBA for the San Antonio Spurs. Parker, the former husband of Eva Longoria, almost didn't make it to the games due to being a bystander in the Chris Brown vs. Drake club brawl in New York City many weeks ago. Parker suffered a minor eye injury which came due to a flying shard of glass. Luckily for him, it was not more serious, and he's able to participate with his team.

While the injury was not too serious, it was enough to keep him on the sidelines a bit. Parker took several weeks off from practice, and recently joined France's team. According to ESPN.com, he commented, saying:

"I just started training like 10 days ago so I'm not 100 percent. I'm not even close to being in shape. We had a terrible preparation but we're going to try and do the best we can."

Now France will enter this matchup versus Team USA with Parker wearing protective goggles. France shocking Team USA is not expected by any stretch of the imagination, but with Parker's new resolve, and determination, anything is possible. The point guard has helped his San Antonio Spurs win multiple NBA championships. Now he and his French teammates will have a major challenge against Team USA. Parker will need to play the best basketball of his life, and get some major help from other teammates.
