Well, I am part way into chapter 8 of the second book of the Fifity Shades of Grey books. The first book ended with Ana breaking things off with Christian because fo their diffrent life styles. Well, if there was already two more books after that, we knew they had to get back together.
Christian had a very hard childhood, his birth mother was a crack whore, her pimp used to beat him and he finally beat his mom to death (I beleive that is how that happened, either she overdosed or the pimp beat her, I told you I am not much of a reader, lol). Anywho, Christian has premanent scares on his torso, front and back. So he does not permit anyone to touch him, but Ana is working on this.
When Christian was going through school he was in fights all the time, his adoptive parents truely loved him but it was not enough, Christian did not know what to do with that much love. Then he found another type of "love" when he was fifteen, with a friend of his mother's. He stopped his fighting but he was still messed up. He had submissive relationships, until Ana nothing close to a "normal" relationship, and he is learnging how to love.
One of Chiristian's past "subs", she wanted something more than being a submissive partner, so they ended things. She married, but now she somehow discovered that Christian is in a relationship that has "more". She is not dealing with this too well, and she is making the last two chapters a little interesting. Once Christian finds out he runs a recent background check on this ex-sub and she just got a conceal and carry. Worried Christian gets some security, which his ex proves a good idea.
The sexual relationship is not even close to what Christian is used to. After Ana left him he realized he wanted her more than the kinky stuff, so he is willing to have a
"vanilla" sex life, but they end up combining the two. I don't know what you guys heard on the radios, but here there was some talk about wawa balls, well I was already reading book one and hadn't come to that, then in book one it does mention a brief thing about them, well in book two they do as well. It is not anything "x rated" but it kind of gives you an idea what they do. So if that is one thing you heard in all the talks about these books, you will read more in the second book about them.
I don't want to give away all the details. I just wanted to give an update just incase some may still be deciding if they are going to read them or not. So, has anyone else started these books yet? If so, you probably passed me up already. It takes me a while to read.
