My homepage only shows the news, entertainment and sports now. I have to go to my "Groups" section to see anything written by anyone posting in my groups. I though it was just another Gather remake.

I never used to go to my home page because I have checked all my friends to send me emails when they post or comment but Yahoo doesn't send me every email I should be getting. Either way, I'm stumbeling through trying to see to it that I comment on as much of my friends posts and photos as I get. I wish I knew if it was a Gather Glitch or a Yahoo Fumble.

The email issue goes from one extreme to another. At one point I had too many emails from gather so I stopped receiving them individually. But now when I comment on something or someone comments on mine I don't always get the notice. Either way I just hang tough and hope it works out. I hope you have a great day!

I had a pretty good day, thanks. I think a lot of that is the email provider. Hey, I think hangin tough is a very good idea.

Gather has a strange way of wanting to either freeze up or submit your comments twice.

Yeah, I noticed that. Have you noticed how many social sites have been laid to rest? I'm only here and on FB, but I've noticed that a lot of people are shutting down their FB accounts. I hope Gather sticks around, I love it here, glitches and all.

Yes, I'm finding things to be rather twilight zonish on Gather, too...and it can suck the time right out of your day leaving you no time to do anything else you may wish to do if you're not careful. I'm still trying to figure out how to balance the rest of the sites I work with Gather.

LOL, me too. I recently got so far behind on my Gather connected Email account that I spent 4 hrs yesterday catching up....now I understand why so many of the friends I am connected with never comment on anything I post, they are too busy posting to get points. I don't think I like just making points, I like having the interaction I've found here. All you guys are terrific.

Thanks, MLM. I enjoy some of the discussions I have here but 90% of my emails are pretty run of the mill. There's gotta be an answer.

Hummmmm......I know, either get interested in points only, like so many Gatherers lately......or find out which friends post interesting dialog and only read theirs. Its a thought.

I've been having problems lately too, only not with gather. I'm having trouble with my emails not wanting to open. I can get to everything on gather, but it takes twiceas long to 'weed' through everything.

You too? I have that problem with my Yahoo account connected with Gather, but I've never had that problem with my Gmail account that I use for other things.
