Kate Middleton and Prince William are gearing up to do their part to make the 2012 Olympics in London a smashing success. Kate's Midas touch is powerful. If she is there supporting the Olympic teams and the events, there will be a heightened interest. Although folks may not be all that interested in the games themselves, if Kate is watching, it must be cool.
According to a spokesman for the royal couple, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have been tremendously excited about the Olympics for a long time and want to throw themselves into the Games and help out as much as they can." Kate loves watching tennis and will likely be sitting center court watching Andy Murray.
Over the next two weeks, the couple will be keeping very busy. The spokesperson explains Will and Kate's packed schedule. They will be "watching the sports and meeting many of the athletes and visiting dignitaries, they hope to meet a whole cross-section of people, from volunteers to cooks in the Olympic village, who will make the Games a success."
