Well I just finsihed the first book of the Fifty Shades Trilogy. The ending is not what I expected and I also did not expect to get into the book this way. The last few pages really do make you feel the way the characters are feeling.
I won't give you all the details to ruin anything for you....but, it is harder than either of them had thought to make such a relationship between such two different people to work. I won't say who does what, just that I felt bad, for them both. Neither of them wanted to break up but they both know they are just too different and their worlds are very far apart from each other.
Well we know some wheres down the line they must get back together, or there wouldn't be two more books following right behind, right?
I will just type out what the back cover of the second book, Fifty Shades of Darker reads:
Daunted byt he sigular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tomented young enterpreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off theri relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house.
But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Ana cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Ana learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven, and demanding Fifty Shades.
While Christian wrestles with his inner demnons, Ana must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.
....That is just what is has on the back cover. She calls Christian Fifty Shades to herself in her mind. She really has fallen for Christian and admits she feels a love for him. You cannot help to feel for Ana, her first love, her first anything with a man, and she hurts as they are parting. Christian you do feel for too, he does love her, at least it seems like that is what it is leading too. But his childhood haunts him and it is hard for him to feel love or know what love is.
On the back cover of the first book, it ends saying--Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a talk that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever. Then it is catagorized as and Erotic Romance for a Mature Audience.
That short pharagraph above, just about sums up the books so far. It is erotic, and amusing, at the end especially is is deeply moving. If you really get into readin then yes it could obsess you or possess you. As far as stay with you forever, it probably will me because it is the first book I have ever read from cover to cover without skimming over any parts. Something I have in common with the characters I guess, a first for me, lol.
