Well that's easy. I don't watch ABC, never went into a Disney store or visited their web site and I don't watch ESPN. As to the two characters yeah good idea fire them.

I stopped watching ABC a while ago when they so obviously became part of Obama's re-election team.

That's so you will assume Mr. Beck and Mr. Limbaugh are trustworthy, I believe, Marilyn. You're not supposed to be smart enough to grasp the potential that the mass media echo chamber as a whole is untrustworthy, and the powers that be are just putting on a fake lib v con battle of the talking heads. And, those who drink the blue KoolAid, so to speak, see the attacks of the Red talking heads and their fans, as proof that the Blue talking heads are legit, in the very same way you are being led to think the opposite, I am quite sure.

You might have something there, John. But Glenn and Rush do expose things that need exposing, although not to the extent of Alex Jones or Breitbart. To be informed, one needs to look at as many types of media as possible, and especially foreign sources.

So do talking heads on the Blue team, after a fashion, when people/sources outside the Red/Blue corporate media game have succeeded in making many people aware of them already, and countermeasures are deemed necessary.

It's a form of "damage control", basically. A way to "frame" the general discussion, along lines that can be managed effectively. If the US war/police state machine is caught red handed, like at Abu Ghraib for instance, out come the obfuscatory spinners, to keep us from simply recognizing our "leaders" are ruthless psychopaths that have no regard for basic human rights or the rule of law, at all. Assassinations by high explosive without any due process needs to be sold? Those guys start selling, not sounding an alarm about this totally barbaric and unconstitutional behavior.

The tip off is how they react to something like people questioning the official story of what happened on 9/11, where there's no way to rationalize or soft sell the "false flag" potential. Suddenly those guys will play the "I am an all-knowing and rightfully outraged God" routine, and savagely attack any who question the official conspiracy theory. Evidence is out the window, and listeners are encouraged to see those asking them to look at evidence as thoroughly insane (literally), and a grave threat to all that's good and holy.

Sigh.

Sure wish I could wake up from this nightmare the US has become. (The world too.)
