Is Gabriel Aubry mooching off Halle Berry?

Since splitting with Gabriel Aubry, Halle Berry has alleged her baby's daddy is a violent, verbally abusive racist. And now she's claiming he's a lazy moocher, too!

According to Star (via Celebitchy.com), Gabriel is an epic freeloader who has been turning down modeling jobs and just living off the $20,000 a month in child support that Halle has been ordered to pay him.

"Beautiful Halle" is pissed because she "has been supporting her lazybones ex" since they split over two years ago, because Gabriel refuses to do any actual work and instead "just lives off Halle," an "insider" who is hilariously and obviously Team Berry claims.

"It is really hard for her to watch how he spends money that he didn't earn," Star's source whines.

And what has Gabriel been blowing his child support on? His child! He spent $11,000 on a birthday party for daughter Nahla, including "a thousand on the cake alone. The money Gabriel spent would pay for an entire year of preschool!" Star's source huffs.

Halle sure has a lot of hang-ups about money. She allegedly used to call Gabriel a "loser" because he only made around $700,000 a year as a model, and she also reportedly mocked the fact that his restaurant in New York City closed after two years. And if he didn't use that money for Nahla, Halle would be screaming about how he's a terrible father because he wasn't spending it on their daughter. So sure, $11,000 for a birthday party is totally extravagant, but at least it was money spent on the child.

Plus, if Gabriel was getting a ton of job offers—which is possible, because he's still a smokin' hottie, but he's also 35, which is way past a model's sell-by date, so it's not very likely—and taking them, the second there was a scheduling conflict or he was late picking Nahla up because a photo shoot ran long or whatever, Halle would also be screaming about what a neglectful, unfit father he was. So Gabriel's really in a no-win situation. Given how totally obvious it is that this report came from Halle's camp, it sounds like she's bitter that on top of losing the PR battle and not being able to totally cut Gabriel out of Nahla's life, she now also has to pay her hated ex child support. That can't be good news for Gabriel!
