Kate Gosselin Has a Super Stressful Day!

Kate is NOT a "single" mother....She is a DIVORCED mother with the father of her kids still equally active in their lives and available to care for them with a moments notice...She uses the single mother thing for sympathy...Actually, a single mother is just that...single with NOBODY to help her in the Dad sense of the word....Kate is very fortunate...And I'm sure if the "bodyguard"(really needs that, huh?) is still living with her and hasn't gone back to his wife, yet, he is also available to help..I mean, she had the 8 kids to make money off of them and I'm sorry she didn't bank on the show and income ending, but....get used to it....Now you have to deal with it however you have to deal with it...I will never get people trying to have multiples when they can't even afford the ones they have...But it did work out for her for a long time and the kids paid her handsomely...now it's time for HER to start earning some of that money she made off of them:)

Debbie I am glad I'm not the only one who hates it when she is referred to as a single mother!

I'm sure she'll get plenty of peace and quiet some day.

Those eight paychecks are going to get tired of doing her bidding and working for her keep. Hey, when my son was little, he tripped on the way out the door to his grandpop's funeral service, hubby had to take him to the e.r., he got stitches in his head (done by a plastic surgeon) which meant I had to have the after service thingy at my place without hubby to help...then, when Paul was a year older, he smashed his hand in a car door, lost the fatty pad tip to his one finger, and had his arm in a sling for a month...right before that, I was in the hospital for dehydration for four nights and five days...oh my, what else went wrong during that time - hey, guess what? My son is still here and so am I. We survived.

When I have a bad day, I share with my girlfriends, or my mom, my husband or coworkers
(like the day we buried my beloved father and went to my mom's where no less than 5 family members were stricken with the stomach flu AT THE SAME TIME and I cleaned toilets until dawn).
Kate clearly has no one. Heck, she won't even allow herself a glass of wine after a bad day because she "hates the calories". What else to do? Complain to strangers.
As an uber-fan of the late, great Erma Bombeck, I was seriously offended when one of her sheeple compared Kate to her.....and of course, Kate agreed.
Not for a New York minute does Kate have anywhere near the talent and gift that Erma Bombeck had.
I'm sure every single person posting on Gather has an "Ain't Life Grand" story ( or 2... or a hundred). Maybe we should post them and Kate should read them.

Kate has a rough road? Surely you jest. She has full-time babysitters who do the real mothering of the children. Do you really believe Kate herself gives the dog medicine? No way would she do this. One child has braces that need fixing? Big deal. That's a quick trip to the orthodontist. Babysitter will drive the child, not Kate. She's just complaining again, same as she always does. A handful of people fall for it, majority do not.

no wonder people can't stand this woman....WAAAAHHHHHH

She is a constant whiner. Doesn't have to worry about next meal for kids like a real single mom she isn't one like said before. My kids had no Dad and we were poor, no one tohelp. Cut the sh_t Kate. We don't sympathize.

PJ, thanks. What is really sad is since being a single Mom and I NEVER got child support, It still affects me today, now that I am older. I have a pinch of savings since when the kids were young trying to support alone, I could not put monies in a 401K much and some that I did I had to pull out to pay for larger expenses. I am sure Kate has a hefty retirement plan unlike most of us sadly off the backs of her kids.

I understand you perfectly as a single unwed mother. I got to pinch savings as well and all this alone and it's sad that Kate complains and bitch about everything and she doesn't know what being a real mom for her children. I had to do the same with my 401k and it's sad to know this woman used her kids for her own self indulged way and off the kids backs...you're so right

The only line I agree with is the last line that one day Kate will get peace and quiet. Without a doubt that will be true.
