The Walking Dead season 3 is going to be introducing the Governor to the series, and everyone's looking forward to what that means for the survivors. It can't be anything good, especially with what's been teased so far.
Walking Dead Season 3 Spoilers
A new trailer (below) for season 3 already debuted at Comic-Con, and it has left fans with even more questions. Andrea and Michonne are going to end up in Woodbury, and that is how the Governor will find out about the other survivors, but executive producer Gale Anne Hurd told TV Guide, "It's not that easy." There's apparently more going on than meets the eye, and considering that's true for Woodbury in general, of course it's true for what happens with those in it as well.
Meanwhile, showrunner Glen Mazzara teased, "The Governor is a dangerous character, and what's interesting is that the folks in the prison are also dangerous characters now. Rick and Daryl and the people are willing to do what they need to do to survive, so it's great to set those two forces against each other." If you weren't already excited about The Walking Dead season 3 (which you have to be, especially after watching the new preview), you should be now.
The survivors just lost the farm, which they saw as their safe haven, to walkers, and they're obviously going to hope that the prison, once they take care of the walkers around it, could be their next safe place. It's not, but that doesn't mean they're about to let anyone take it from them. Seeing the Governor against the survivors should be quite the explosive confrontation.
