You know, it is interesting, those are the only responses I've seen from the Left. I take that back, 'Four More Years' left a long comment on my "Obama Takes Bain Contributions" article, but apparently he was so embarassed by how easily it was proven fallible, he deleted it. At first glance it would appear that Sununu was taking the hardest line stance yet, the kind of line many feel Romney should be taking but months ago vowed he would never do. It was very curious (and some like me thought potentially crippling) for a major politician to rule out character and especially ideological analysis from his campaign repertoire.

Good blog TL, in contrast to Huffpost's "Breaking News" earlier today in which a blaring headline suggested that Sununu had simply gone off his nut.

However, once again the REAL story is masked (deliberately?) by a lesser and more innocuous version. Harsh as the Sununu (always considered a moderate mixed Capitalist-Socialist himself) attack might seem, he played the "inexperienced" card on Obama, when the Communist ideologue card is readily playable and proveable.

So instead of being accused of being deliberately subversive and malicious, it's "oops look what he did or didn't do" time again. It is not helping the Romney campaign effort that all the mountains of evidence that Obama adores Marxist-Leninism and despises the USA for its alleged unavoidable and ongoing history of Racism, its support of Judeo-Christiain traditions and its Capitalistic Constitutional Republican system are simply ignored in favor of a simplistic explanation of incompetence.

I liken it to the difference between being convicted of unintentional manslaughter or premeditated first degree murder. Obama & Co. have planned and schemed the murder of Constitutional Christian Capitalist USA for decades. Yet the chief prosecutor only wants a conviction on manslaughter (accidentally causing a death) which carries a significantly lesser penalty.

Or like Bill Clinton facing impeachment proceedings for the controversial charge of infidelity on the job rather than for treasonably allowing the Chinese to get their hands on vital military secrets or using his office to raise reelection money by renting out the Lincoln bedroom and sending Gore on contribution-gathering missions to foreign nations.

I realize that no modern politician wants to open the Pandora's box containing the C word. Not even one of Obama's harshest critics, Stanley Kurtz, uses it, preferring just the broader term "Socialism" or at most, "Marxism," although Marx himself used it when he titled his ideological brainchild "The Communist Manifesto."

To do otherwise than Sununu did would be to risk reraising the issue which had been supposedly settled for all time by the vilification of Joseph McCarthy nearly sixty years ago. And that might lead to exposing other things, which might be too much of a shock to the American public's remaining willingness to let Washington exercise so much power over them. At least that's their private excuse to each other.

Limbaugh does not shy away from using the C word. Nor does Beck. Or Levin. But politicians do. So the true gravity of what is at stake remains obscure to many millions who do not listen to talk radio or subscribe to GBTV.

Thus the question remains whether charges of Obama's "incompetence" will trump all the anti-Romney BS the LSM has spewed and will spew. That is, assuming an honest election in which voter ID is applied and impartial vote counting is the rule.

Eagle - Sununu hit THE nail on the head. This is exemplified by AliHussein's comment. Leftists living off the government teet have no concept of paychecks. When you talk about that their eyes glaze over. Perhaps because because they don't draw meaningful private sector paychecks? Here's the real rub:

Community Organizers, such as what Obama was his entire career, live off of other people's money - taxpayer tax money. In Obama's case, for a lifetime. Obama never earned a meaningful paycheck unless government gave him taxpayer money. Just like he relied on grants (other forms of taxpayer money) to pay his way through school. But for taxpayer money, Obama today wouldn't exist. It is impossible for Obama to know business. He has always been vastly removed from it. That is Obama's business ignorance.

BTW, I've heard though haven't seen Romney delivered on heck of a speech today! Was told Mark Levin kudoed him for finally laying Obummer out. I can't wait to see it. HooRah! With all of the truth coming back to bite Obama's butt as it has these past several days, I am sure the Left does have their media minions trying to put out fires. HA. The American People are not stupid. The Left is stupid for thinking they are.

The thing about the inexperience card you mention is, a paycheck from a private employer is something Americans know and easily relate to. Plus it's just truthful fact. The Communism card is more conflicted, that takes more understainding and its clear and present danfer isn't cozied up to right off the bat. So why get diverted by those more easily diverted rantings when it's darned easy to stick with the inexperience card. Once the American public demonstrates its more grounded in basics, they'll get to the other.

Sununu is a fantastic spokesman for Romney. It is refreshing and inspiring to listen to him. If you haven't seen new creative/music PAC vids yet, check them out, I posted a couple. You can just hear the Conservative engine purring before it starts revving its engine, lol.

It will be a task to ensure our elections are fair ones. That is the wild card IMO and a critical one. The Democrats cannot win with turth and honesty. They coined it nicely in referring to themselves as being "street fighters." If Romney were smart he would ensure that characterization of them by themselves were in lights on every page of every publication. It's tough talk for the moment, but no one respects the thuggish nature or unethical antics of "street fighters." And that does say all there is to say about just who the Obama folks are. That should be every Conservative's talking point of the day.

BTW Eagle, if you notice Sununu does a very nice job of putting in plain American terms just why and how Obama is unAmerican and how much he has to learn about being American, understanding America. That is another clesarly stated truth that cannot be denied. The American People are ripe to hear someone of knowledge and power speak to it. It's drawing nye on the C-card IMO.

Well, between Eagle and Truth, you've about covered it all. Yes, it's refreshing to hear Sununu come out and tell it like it is. It was the same way I felt when Newt came out and talking about Obama's communist Saul Alinsky ties. It can't be emphasized enough that the "Change" that Obama spoke of was the change he has planned for transforming the Judeo-Christian Capitalist Republic The United States of America to a socialist/marxist/communist state.

Isn't it strange that, just as McCain wasn't our first choice, but the choice the media and the Republican establishment gave us, he chose to go soft on Obama and not use the available information on him. Now Romney also not being our first choice, but the choice the media and the Republican establishment gave us, is choosing the same "strategy". Something is NOT right here.

Romney's speech today was good. If it can be effective to let The People behind Romney do the skull crushing, that is how it should be. The People, by their numbers, have to show support.

There was a tremendous amount of Fact Checking about Obama's lies this past week and, regardless of source, they came out in Romney's favor.

TL point well taken about Obama's Communism being a harder sell because so many people just don't understand what it is. But most Americans seemed to understand it when what it really is when it was actually taught in schools and when it was actually explained in media. Americans need to learn about it again in other than the distorted, glowing terms academia and most media tend to consider it now. Of course that goes for radical Islam too.

Eagle - Your comments about the C-card were good, they urged me to keep mentioning the concept in articles when appropriate. And that's really important. What we can't do is pretend it's too touchy to even keep in front of people then it just goes away. People will build into its broader impacts on their own if it's a gradual progression, for now a curiosity to be considered rather than overwhelming with its madness all at once. I believe Americans who are involved can't avoid knowing it and passing it along at their own pace. You'd be surprised, many people I least expect do.

Ted, thanks for the links! The People must take this Left media propaganda machine down. Only We have the power to do that. Stop patronizing them. It's that simple. Media counts its viewership and their advertisers rely on those numbers, which are who keep them in business. We control them if we set out minds to it, that's why Fox News is so much bigger.

Fox News actually informs rather than regurgitating the Obama administration talking points. The public knows that, and that's why they have the viewership. AND, that's why they are the target of the left.

The Left has been trying to take Fox News down for years. I will never forget an entire "documentary," probably 15-years ago, trying to convince the public how bad Fox News was and how it had to be taken off the air. Hillary starred in it, among others, I think Al Gore was another.

I wasn't the least involved in politics then but even I knew that was a bunch of hooey propaganda. It was almost laughable, seriously, how they whined because Conservatives had a channel. As you said, Fox does present real news, especially so compared to Main Stream Media's Left edited and literally censured propaganda.

The Socialists will not be happy until they have silenced every voice of reason. They've tried through assaults like the so-called "Fairness Doctrine" which of course was really designed to guarantee unfairness.

The irony has been that their voices are almost always presented without any dissent allowed, or if it is allowed it is quickly ridiculed and dismissed. Yet Fox News IS far more "fair and balanced" because at least they make an effort to include dissent and it is seldom ridiculed.

Socialism has six voices on TV (ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN and MSNBC), Conservatives have about two thirds of Fox. So Socialism outnumbers Constitutional Capitalism 19 to 2, or almost ten to one. But still the Socialist whine about Fox, because deep down they are terrified that some of those they have lied outright to and lied to by omission will actually watch Fox and realize how the others have consistently hoodwinked them in every possible way for decades.
