Niall Horan's father Bobby is very proud of his son and the success he has found with One Direction. Bobby says that Niall has been self-sufficient from a young age and, because of that, has learned how to cook and do laundry, all the stuff that will make him a good husband one day!
Talking about Niall, Bobby said, "He has a very soft side to him. His mother taught him to bake... he can do cupcakes. He had to look after himself a lot because I was working, so from the age of seven he had to do his own washing, his own ironing and often his own cooking. To my mind all kids should be able to do what he can."
What girl wouldn't love a guy who can bake cupcakes?!
Bobby continued, "So he's well-adapted for where he is now... independent and away from home. He'll make someone a wonderful husband."
In fact, it sounds as if the only thing Niall Horan can't do is drive a car! Looks like he will either need to learn how to drive or else find himself a wife who has a driver's license!
Bobby said, "He hasn't even got his driving licence. He's had no time to have lessons."
Bobby also revealed that, since the day of his X Factor audition, "Niall hasn't lived at home since. When he comes home he just wants to be Niall and leave Niall from One Direction behind."
One thing is for sure—Niall likes his privacy, especially when he does have the chance to visit home.
Contrary to reports that suggest Niall Horan might have a drinking problem, Bobby says that his son is actually not a big drinker: "He's not a big drinker but we often go for a pint when he's home."
All in all, Niall is lucky to have such supportive parents who are obviously very proud of him, and not at all interested in any of the money that has resulted from his One Direction career. Bobby loves Niall for one reason—Niall is his son. End of story.
