Casting for the 50 Shades of Grey movie has yet to be determined, but that doesn't mean that fans and media sites haven't speculated who should play in the film. Following his role as a stripper in "Magic Mike," Channing Tatum is on the wish list of Hollywood hunks to play Christian. (His abs are evidence enough that he should be a candidate.) However, it doesn't seem likely that he'll play the BDSM-loving, multi-millionaire even though he has an interest in the role.
When asked if he'd star in a movie base off the erotic bestseller, Channing said yes, though under one condition. "I'd only be allowed if my wife was Ana. She's read the books so I don't think she'd be impressed if she couldn't be Ana!" No offense to Jenna Dewan (aka Mrs Tatum), but 50 Shades of Grey the movie just wouldn't be the same as the book if a real-life couple portrayed Christian and Ana. There's just something incredibly intriguing about two individuals who hardly know each other having a powerful connection from their first meeting..and with the sexual escapades that follow thereafter. The book is a form of escape for women (and a few men) to explore a fantasy world where they can become new people and lose their inhibitions...without cheating, of course.
Do you think the roles of Ana and Christian in the 50 Shades of Grey movie would be the same if Channing Tatum and wife played the characters?
