Google to support Gay Rights the World Over....

Google has announced it is embarking on a global LGBT rightsÂ initiative, the Legalize Love campaign,

Google has announced that it is launching a global effort to have countries decriminalize homosexuality and increase the human rights standards for LGBTs.

Googleâ€™s Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe said: Â˜We want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office. It is obviously a very ambitious piece of work.

Google will work with other organizations to lobby governments to improve their human rights toward gays, including in America.

Religious organizations that have boycotted smaller groups (things like Ellen and Archie comics) say they just don't know how they can boycott something that they use so much, too.

Conservatives would do better to rail against marital infidelity and adultery which usually proceeds divorce

You are right Vic, but Conservatives are the only ones who are making such a big deal of it!!!!

They throw the bible at everyone. They seem to tear off the page with the passage: "...let the one who has no sin throw the first stone..." Or maybe the modified to "...let only the ones who sinned throw stones..."

I am not sure how it relates to others, but my faith has nothing to do with politics. The government has nothing to do with my personal moral direction. They do not have that specific power.

God, Himself allows for free will, and I do not question that. Anyone has the free will to make any choices, and it should not be assumed that anyone, conservative, or not, does not disagree with the right of those choices. But, no one is required to agree with those choices, either. I respect the right to exercise that free will, but I will not compromise my faith and accept them against my faith. If you point fingers at the conservatives collectively, you are misrepresenting the conservatives and the faith, as well. Blame cannot accurately be assessed beyond the heart of the individual. Not all conservatives or their associated faith are exactly the same, and because of that, they should not be judged as being the same.

I applaud Google! I hope this effort will do some real good on behalf of this issue. I have to admit it put a smile on my face to think of all the rapid right wingers trying to figure out how they can boycot this.
P.S. How nice it is to have some pleasant discourse on this site as opposed what it is usually here...mean and ugly!

I'm glad Google is taking steps in this direction. And I have no doubt, many others will continue to follow suit. I have felt for quite some time, that this one day won't even be a topic. With all the troubles in the world, I find it a waste, that this is even an issue to the degree it is.
